A geoduck diver working on a commercial boat for the Squaxin Island Tribe died near Fox Island Tuesday. The 36-year-old man has been identified as Daniel Hall of Olympia.

Emergency personnel were unable to revive an unconscious diver near Hoodsport Sunday morning. Mason County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the call of an unresponsive diver about 10 AM. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating. No other details have been released.

A 50-year-old woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after becoming unconscious during the assent of a dive in the Hoodsport area Sunday. The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident that was reported about 12 PM. No other details have been released.
