Official School Election Results

vote2013The results from the February 12th Special Election are now official and only the Hood Canal School District levy has passed. The bond measures in Grapeview and Pioneer failed to get the 60% required to pass.

North Mason School Bond on April Ballot

North Mason School District voters will decide on a $49 Million construction bond in April. Thursday night, the North Mason School Board voted to place the measure to build a new high school, renovate the current high school into a middle school, and make other safety improvements to Belfair and Sand Hill elementary schools on the April 23 ballot.

Election Results: Grapeview Bond Now Passing; Pioneer Bond Failing; Hood Canal Levy Still Passing

vote2013More ballots were counted Friday afternoon from Tuesday’s Special Election and the latest results show that the Grapeview School bond is not passing, Pioneer School Bond still coming up short of the 60% required to pass, and the Hood Canal School levy picked up votes and is still passing.

Election Results Nearly Official

The results from the November 6th General Election are nearly official. The election will be certified Tuesday and most County Auditor’s Offices have completed counting. Statewide there are just over 2,300 ballots left to be counted. Mason County election officials counted all their remaining ballots Monday and although the outcome hasn’t changed here are the latest results…

No Changes in Results for Mason County Commission seats after election officials in the Mason County Auditor’s Office counted additional ballots Friday. Here are the latest results:

Denny Hamilton (Prefers Democratic Party)           12,045 votes          47.08%
Randy Neatherlin (States No Party Preference)      13,541 votes          52.92%

Mason County County Commissioner District 2
Tim Sheldon (Prefers Democratic Party)                13,726 votes          53.95%
Roslynne Reed (Prefers Democratic Party)            11,716 votes          46.05%

Mason County County Commissioner District 3
Ross Gallagher (Prefers Democratic Party)            12,110 votes           48%
Terri Jeffreys (Prefers Independent Party)               13,119 votes           52%

Public Utility Dist 1 Commissioner District 3
Johnny H. (Jack) Janda                                        870 votes                59.18%
Willie Pierce                                                          600 votes                40.82%

So far 28,368 ballots have been counted in the County bringing the turnout to 80.44%.

General Election Results: Mason County Commission

Here are the latest unofficial results for the three Mason County Commissioner positions as of 8:05 PM Tuesday. Election officials in the Mason County Auditor’s Office counted 22,127 ballots and expect as many at 7,000 more ballots to come in over the next few days.
