Wind and Rain Expected Today; Rain This Week

Wind and rain are expected today and it’s going to be a wet week. The National Weather Service says winds 20 to 30 MPH are expected with gusts up to 50 MPH today and forecasters have issued a wind advisory until 1 PM.

Windy Monday Forecast; Rain As Well

The wind could be an issue Monday and rain is forecast for the next week. The National Weather Service has high wind watches in effect for the Washington Coast, the Cascade Foothills in Snohomish, King and Pierce counties, the San Juan Islands and the Port Townsend area of Jefferson County where winds of 30 to 40 MPH with gust up to 60 MPH are possible tonight and tomorrow. In the Mason County area, forecasters say wind Monday could be 20 to 30 MPH with gusts as high at 45 or 50.
