PUD 3 Still Working on Outages – Gaining Ground

An estimated 200 Mason County PUD No. 3 customers are still without electricity as of 3 PM Saturday afternoon as the outage restoration has been aided by an afternoon lull in the weather. Most of the customers involved are mostly scattered and isolated outage pockets. PUD 3 officials expect to have most electrical customers back on line this evening.

Flood Warning for the Skokomish

A flood warning is in effect for the Skokomish River. Heavy rain over the Olympic Peninsula combines with low elevation snow melt runoff will drive the Skokomish above flood stage this morning (Saturday, January 21, 2012) with minor flooding expected into Saturday night.

This was a freelance job for 820 Sports – KCBF in Fairbanks, Alaska as the University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks played the Saint Martin’s University Saints at Marcus Pavilion in Lacey.
