Mason County PUD No. 3 has released a video showing how crews pulled a three-phase power and fiber optic cable across the Harstine Island Bridge. The video also addresses how the PUD dealt with the theft of about 40 feet of the specially designed cable.
According to Wyla Wood, Manager of Mason County PUD No. 3, the cost to make the project work after the theft is $30,000:
The investigation into who cut and stole that portion of cable continues.
