A Belfair woman died in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 3 Wednesday morning. The State Patrol identifies the woman as 52-year-old Anne Louise Perry. Perry was southbound in a 2001 Dodge Neon about 8:30 AM. As she approached a curve at milepost 17 (about 4 miles south of Allyn), the car started to leave the roadway to the right. Perry overcorrected and the Neon slid into the northbound lane where a northbound 2007 Subaru Outback struck the Dodge on the passenger side. Both cars came to rest in the roadway blocking the highway. Perry died at the scene. The driver of the Subaru, Debra Higgins Dunlap, 59 of Grapeview, was transported to Mason General Hospital in Shelton with undisclosed injuries. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
