Shelton Candidates Debate

Tuesday night, the candidates running for the two 35th District State Representative seats and all three seats on the Mason County Commission debated the issues at Oakland Bay Junior High School. The debate was presented by the Shelton Mason County Chamber of Commerce, the League of Women Voters of Mason County and

First up were the candidates for the 35th District State Representative: Dan Griffey and Kathy Haigh for Position 1; and Drew MacEwen and Lynda Ring-Erickson for Position 2.

Then the candidates for Mason County Commission: Denny Hamilton and Randy Neatherlin for Commissioner District 1; Tim Sheldon and Roslynne Reed for Commissioner District 2; and Ross Gallagher and Terri Jeffreys for Commissioner District 3.

Ballots for the November 6th General Election will be mailed to voters on Friday.
