Shelton City Commission Meets Monday Night
The Shelton City Commission meets Monday night at 6 PM. During the meeting, the City Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the City’s Six Year Transportation Improvement Plan, be briefed on the concept of a moratorium on development impact fees and discuss the removal of the street sweeping pile at the Highway 3 Park and Ride.
Mason County Commission Meets Tuesday Morning
The Mason County Commission meets Tuesday morning at 9 AM. Top item on the County Commissioners’ agenda is a public hearing regarding the Belfair Water District’s request to annex areas of Clifton Ridge. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM. There are also nine “Action Agenda” items on the draft agenda. Among those items are awarding 2163 Housing Fund Grants and memorandums of understanding with AFSCME Local 1504 and Teamsters Local 252 to make adjustments for employees recalled from layoffs with in 18 to 14 months.
The Mason County Commissioners also hold their regular briefings on Monday beginning at 9 AM.
Port of Shelton Commission Meets Tuesday
The Port of Shelton Commission is holding its regular business meeting at 2 PM Tuesday. The agenda for the Port Commission meeting in the boardroom at the Port’s Office, 21 West Sanderson Way, will be available on Monday. Anyone interested in the Port of Shelton is encouraged to attend Tuesday’s meeting.
MTA Board Meets Tuesday
The Mason Transportation Authority Board of Directors meets Tuesday at 4 PM. The MTA Board meets at the Authority’s office on Johns Prairie Road. Anyone interested in Mason Transit is welcome to attend.
