Snow is in the forecast for this week. According to the latest forecast, the chance of snow begins Wednesday and will hang around through at least Sunday.
Although the chance of snow doesn’t exceed 30 percent, forecasters are saying one to three inches of snow accumulation Thursday. Cold temperatures are also expected with highs around the freezing mark and lows possibly dipping into the teens in some areas. Areas most likely to see more snow than others include Matlock, Lake Cushman, and along the Hood Canal.
Mason County Public Works’ Mike Collins and Loretta Swanson told the Mason County Commission Monday, crews are getting roads prepared.
