Mason County Public Health reported a dozen (12) new cases of COVID-19 in the County on Thursday, December 31, 2020. The health department also reported one person is now hospitalized with the virus. Mason County’s rate of new cases per 100,000 over two weeks is now 219, down from Wednesday’s 243.
According to the Mason County Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 Information website (https://www.co.mason.wa.us/COVID-19/index.php), the County has had 142 new cases in the last 14 days. The rate is calculated using a population of 64,980.
