Mason County Public Health reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 in Mason County on Friday, December 11, 2020. The number of active cases dropped to 129 but there are now three people hospitalized. The County’s rate of new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 over the last two weeks went down to 266. This rate is calculated using a population of 64,980 and 173 new cases in the last 14 days. This week, 104 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Mason County.
The December 11th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (12/10/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Eleven (11) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Nine Hundred and Seventy-One (971) positive cases in Mason County.”
