Two Injured in Crash near Holiday Beach

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 101 near Holiday Beach Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a southbound 2011 Ford Focus crossed the center line at milepost 329 and collided with a northbound 2014 Jeep Cherokee about 12:45 PM. The highway was blocked near Holiday Beach and Sund Creek (north of Hoodsport) for about two hours.

The driver of the Ford, a 40-year-old Hoodsport man, was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The driver of the Jeep, a 23-year-old Shelton man, was transported by aid car to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.

Cause of this crash in under investigation.
