Mason County Public Health reported nine additional cases of COVID-19 in the County on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. The number of active cases is now 77 with four people hospitalized. Mason County’s rate of new cases per 100,000 during the prior two weeks is now 211 – based on 137 cases in the last 14 days and population of 64,980. The goal is to get that rate to less than 25 per 100,000.
The November 25th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (11/24/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of 9 (Nine) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Seven Hundred and Seventy-Six (776) positive cases in Mason County.”
There will not be information releases over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. The next release will be on Monday November 30, 2020.
