Mason County Public Health reported 17 new cases of COVID-19 in the County on Friday, November 20, 2020. This increases the number of active cases to 77 and now there are five people hospitalized. Mason County’s new case rate per 100,000 during the prior two week (based on population 64,980 and 111 cases in the last 14 days) is now up to 171. The rate was 148 Thursday.
The November 20th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (11/19/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Seventeen (17) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Seven Hundred and Eighteen (718) positive cases in Mason County.”
