Mason County Public Health reported five new cases of COVID-19 in the County on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. The number of active COVID-19 cases in Mason County is now 67 with four people hospitalized. Mason County’s rate of new cases per 100,000 during the past two weeks (based on 64,980 population and 93 cases in the last 14 days) is now 143, down slightly from Tuesday’s rate of 145.
The November 18th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (11/17/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Five (5) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Six Hundred and Eighty-Eight (688) positive cases in Mason County.”
