Mason County Public Health reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 in the County on Thursday, November 12, 2020. The report covers the past two days and increases the number of active COVID-19 cases in Mason County to 76. Thursday’s numbers also increase Mason County’s rate of new cases per 100,000 during the prior two weeks (based on a population of 64,980 and 81 cases in the last 14 days) is now 125. That rate was 105 on Tuesday.
The November 12th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (11/10/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Twenty (20) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Six Hundred and Fifty-Two (652) positive cases in Mason County.”
