Shelton’s Return to Classroom Targeted for January

[AUDIO] The Shelton School District is targeting late January next year for the District to start getting students back in class. Tuesday, Superintendent Dr. Alex Apostle recommended the Shelton School Board set Monday, January 25, 2021 as the date to start in-person learning.

The date is based on COVID-19 case projections from State and local health departments, dependent on the rate of infections in the County, and could change.

The Shelton School District unanimously set Monday, January 25, 2021 as the target date for returning younger students to the classroom with the hope of adding additional grades in three-week intervals as the pandemic allows.
