There were five new cases of COVID-19 reported in Mason County on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Mason County Public Health is now including the rate per 100,000 for new cases over the prior two weeks in its updates. That rate for Mason County, based on a population of 64,980 and 47 cases in the last 14 days, is 72. There are now 59 active COVID-19 cases in the County with two people hospitalized.
The November 4th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (11/3/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Five (5) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Five Hundred Ninety-Four (594) positive cases in Mason County.”
