Eight to be Interviewed for Police Chief

[VIDEO] The City of Shelton is in the middle of its search for a new police chief after current chief, Darin Moody, announced he plans on retiring in January. According to City Manager Jeff Niten, 16 people have applied for the position and eight will be interviewed next week by staff and community panels.

The City plans to introduce the finalists to the Shelton City Council on October 20th and hold a virtual meet and greet at 4 PM October 21st. Niten will interview the finalists on October 23rd and expects to announce a new police chief in the first week of November.
