Mason County Reports 15 New COVID-19 Cases Monday

Monday, August 24, 2020, Mason County Public Health reported 15 new cases of COVID-19 in the County. This report covers those whose test results came back over the weekend.

The August 24th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (8/21/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Fifteen (15) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Three Hundred-Fifteen (315) positive cases in Mason County. Mason County Public Health is continuing contact interviews.

“When a positive case completes their isolation period and is released by Local Public Health, they can return to work and normal activities.

“Identified positive cases are located throughout Mason County. Mason County Public Health is asking that the public do their part to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

“If you are showing symptoms for COVID-19, early testing is encouraged. At the earliest signs of symptoms, please reach out to the Respiratory Illness Triage line at 360-427-3615. They can assist you in scheduling an appointment at Mason Health’s Drive Thru COVID-19 testing.”
