Two Injured after Truck Leaves SR-108

Two people were injured when a truck left Highway 108 near Tornquist Road Thursday afternoon.

The Washington State Patrol says a 2002 Ford F150 pickup truck was eastbound on State Route 108 about 4:30 PM. At milepost 3 (near Tornquist Road), the driver of the truck suffered a “medical event” and the Ford crossed the westbound lane, left the roadway to the north and came to rest in the brush.

The driver, a 48-year-old Shelton man, and his passenger, a 40-year-old Seattle woman, were transported to Summit Pacific Medical Center in McCleary.
