According to a Washington State Patrol Press memo, the crash occurred about 11:30 AM on southbound State Route 3 just south of Kitsap Way. The Tahuya woman was driving a 2009 Hyundai Accent in lane 1 and drifted into a 2000 Honda Odyessy mini van which was in lane 2. The Accent spun around.
The Tahuya woman was taken to St. Michael’s Medical Center (formerly Harrison Hospital) in Bremerton.
The driver of the minivan, a 27-year-old Port Orchard man, was not injured.
The Hyundai was totaled and the Honda sustained “reportable” damage.
