Another 13 Cases of COVID-19 in Mason County Reported Friday

Mason County Public Health reported another 13 cases of Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the County on Friday, August 7, 2020. According to the latest news release, the number of cases in Mason County is now 227 with 59 active cases and still three hospitalizations (one hospitalized in the County).

The August 7th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (8/6/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Thirteen (13) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Two Hundred Twenty-Seven (227) positive cases in Mason County. Mason County Public Health is continuing contact interviews.

“When a positive case completes their isolation period and is released by Local Public Health, they can return to work and normal activities.

“Identified positive cases are located throughout Mason County. Mason County Public Health is asking that the public do their part to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

“If you are showing symptoms for COVID-19, early testing is encouraged. At the earliest signs of symptoms please reach out to the Respiratory Illness Triage line at 360-427-3615. They can assist you in scheduling an appointment at Mason Health’s Drive Thru COVID-19 testing.”
