Shelton Schools to Start Online

The Shelton School District will be holding all classes online this fall. The Shelton School Board approved the Districts reopening plan Tuesday night. Superintendent Dr. Alex Apostle emphasized keeping students, families and staff healthy and safe as driving factors in recommending starting the 2020-2021 school year online. Dr. Apostle also said the district will work with families to make sure each student received the best education possible.

The Shelton School District will refine this reopening plan in the coming weeks. The plan and a 51-page report from the District’s reopening committees will be available on the District’s website: www.sheltonschools.org.

A Virtual Community Forum is schedule for 6 PM Thursday. Check out the District’s Facebook page or website for details.

First day of school is September 2, 2020.

The Shelton School Board held a study session on the reopening plan prior to their Board meeting.
