Seven More COVID-19 Cases in Mason County

Seven more Mason County residents tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). According to the Mason County Public Health notification, dated Thursday, July 16, 2020, there are now 72 positive COVID-19 cases in the County and the number of active cases is now 19.

Public Health officials are continuing contact interviews and the patients are isolating at home. The ages of these patients are two women in their 40’s, a man in his 40’s, a woman in her 50’s, two men in their 50’s, and a man in his 60’s.

Due to Mason County being a small community, location data of positive cases will not be released to reduce the possibility of patient identification and to protect personal health information. Identified positive cases are located throughout Mason County. Mason County Public Health is asking that the public do their part to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
