Four Additional COVID-19 Cases in Mason County

Mason County Public Health was notified Wednesday, July 15, 2020 of four additional County resident who tested positive of coronavirus (COVID-19). The female under 20 (0-19 age category), a man in his 20’s and two women in their 40’s brings Mason County’s total number of COVID-19 positive cases to 72. The number of active cases in the County is now 12.

The patients are currently isolating at home as public health officials continue contact interviews.

Due to Mason County being a small community, location data of positive cases will not be released to reduce the possibility of patient identification and to protect personal health information. Identified positive cases are located throughout Mason County. Mason County Public Health is asking that the public do their part to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
