Two More COVID-19 Cases in Mason County

A woman in her 40’s and a man in his 20’s are the latest Mason County residents to test positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). Mason County Public Health announced the additional cases Monday, July 6, 2020. This brings the total positive cases in Mason County to 56 and increases the active case number to nine.

The news release announcing these latest COVID-19 cases only said Mason County Public Health is continuing contact interviews.

Due to Mason County being a small community, location data of positive cases will not be released to reduce the possibility of patient identification and to protect personal health information. Identified positive cases are located throughout Mason County. Mason County Public Health is asking that the public do their part to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
