A rolled over tanker trailer blocked State Route 3 for more than six hours Saturday.
The Washington State Patrol reports that the tanker pulling a pup-trailer was southbound on Highway 3 about 3:30 PM. Near the intersection with Mason Lake Road, the trailer left the roadway, struck some trees and came to rest on its side. No leak was detected from the semi tanker as it was reported as fully loaded while the trailer was empty. No other vehicles were involved.
State Route 3 was fully blocked for six hour and ten minutes.
The driver, a 59-year-old Olympia man, was not injured.
The cause is under investigation.
