Another Mason County resident tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). The latest case is in the woman in her 50’s. Mason County Public Health was notified Saturday, May 30, 2020 of her testing positive for COVID-19. Contact interviews are continuing and the patient is currently isolating at home.
This latest test brings the total to thirty-six (36) positive cases of COVID-19 in Mason County but the number of active cases is still three with one death and 1,943 tests performed.

Identified positive cases are located throughout Mason County. To avoid exposure, continue to follow the guidance of washing hands frequently, stay home, unless essential to work and limit travel to only medical appointments, medication pick up, and once every 2-week grocery shopping needs.
