Crews working for Mason County are grinding and paving portions of Agate Road, Johns Prairie Road and the Harstine Island Bridge in the next week or so depending on weather.
According to Mason County Public Works, a contractor began grinding Johns Prairie Road Monday and will be paving Tuesday. This work area is between Highway 3 and the railroad tracks.
Grinding will begin on Agate Road Tuesday with paving set for Thursday, weather permitting. The Agate Road work area is between Highway 3 and approximately milepost 1.
On Thursday, the grinding crew is expected to move to the Harstine Island Bridge with paving to follow within a day or two depending on weather.
