Port commissions in Mason County have announced changes to way they are meeting to adhere to the Governor’s “Stay Home. Stay Healthy.” order which prevents public gatherings.
The Port of Allyn Commission’s regular meeting scheduled for Monday, April 6th will NOT be held at the Port offices as previously scheduled. The 6 PM meeting will now be online via Zoom Conferencing. The public is invited to join the meeting, and will be given an opportunity for public comment at the usual time on the meeting agenda. The meeting ID is: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/3730840011.
The Port of Shelton Commission’s meeting at 2 PM Tuesday, April 7th will be held via conference call. The meeting’s agenda says to call (701) 802-5340 and use Access Code 560884 when prompted followed by the “#” key and then mute your phone.
The Port of Dewatto Commission will also be using Zoom for their meeting on Wednesday, April 8th. Interested residents will need to call the port to get the call in number and PIN 10 minutes prior to the 6 PM meeting. The Commissioners will be there to make motions and actions. Comments will be allowed at the end of the meeting.
The Port of Grapeview Commission has not yet released plans for their meeting on April 21st. Two commissioners have been in contact with MasonWebTV Powered by HCC about utilizing our services for that 7 PM meeting which conflicts with the Shelton City Council. However, the City of Shelton has not announced how that meeting will be held.
The Port of Hoodsport Commission has suspended their meetings and work sessions through the duration of the stay-at-home order. According to the Port’s website, Port Commissioners will only convene when business operations require a Commission decision. Any necessary meetings will be conducted via ZOOM or Conference call. Public meetings and access to public meetings will be posted online and notices will be posted on the port office window.
