A 50-year-old Belfair man was injured in a single-vehicle crash near the Tacoma Narrow Bridge Saturday.
The Washington State Patrol says the man was driver a 1997 Infiniti QX4 westbound on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge about 11:30 AM. The SUV struck both guardrails on the bridge, continued off the bridge and collided with the concrete barrier which caused the vehicle to rollover, coming to rest on its wheels in lanes 2 and 3.
State Route 16 was fully blocked for 44 minutes.
The Belfair man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
A press memo indicates that a medical issue caused the crash.
