A head-on collision on State Route 300 near Pat’s Little Red Barn in Belfair injured two women.
A Washington State Patrol press memo says an eastbound 1986 Volkswagen van crossed the centerline of SR 300 (also known as North Shore Road) about 6:45 PM and struck a westbound 2016 Fiat head-on at milepost 1.
The driver of the VW, a 73-year-old Tahuya woman, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The driver of the Fiat, a 51-year-old Belfair woman, was transported to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.
The crash blocked the roadway for about three hours while Troopers investigated and the scene was cleared. The investigation continues. No other information has been released.
