City Council Selects Megan Fiess to Fill Vacancy

[VIDEO] Tuesday night, the Shelton City Council selected Megan Fiess to fill the vacant council member 7 seat.

Fiess was among the six residents to apply for the seat previously held by Bob Rogers and her selection came after council members interviewed each applicant and held an executive session. The other applicants were George Blush, Trenton Powers, Marilyn Vogler, Dean Jewett, and Tanya Strozyk-Frazier. The selection of Fiess did take three votes.

Megan Fiess is Workforce Division Project Manager for the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce and has been an independent consultant, grant writer and organizational development facilitator for over ten years.

Megan will be sworn into office during the Shelton City Council’s next meeting, 6 PM Tuesday, February 18th.
