The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a 30-year-old Gavin Axel Lee after his vehicle was located near the High Steel Bridge.
According to a flyer from the Sheriff’s Office, Wednesday (Feb. 5, 2020) afternoon, a witness saw a grey Jeep on U.S. Forest Service Road 2340 parked in the area of the High Steel Bridge. As of Friday (Feb. 7, 2020), the Jeep was still at the same location. The abandoned Jeep is registered to Gavin and was left unlocked with a window partially down. Gavin was last believed to be travelling from Ravensdale, WA to Sequim, WA on Wednesday, but he never arrived. He has not been heard from since that afternoon and he can’t be reached by phone.
Gavin is a Veteran suffering from PTSD and depression. He is 5-foot-11, 215 pounds with a tattoo on his upper right arm and one on his left calf.
