A Grapeview woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 3 near Anthony Road Thursday morning.
A Washington State Patrol press memo says a 2003 Toyota Tacoma pickup and a 1996 Jeep Cherokee were northbound on State Route 3 about 10 AM. At the intersection with Anthony Road, the pickup slowed to turn left. The Jeep struck the pickup, then left the highway and came to rest against a fence.
The memo does indicate that the cause of the crash was the feep following too close.
The driver of the Toyota, a 73-year-old Grapeview woman, was transported by ambulance to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.
The driver of the Jeep, a 55-year-old Allyn woman, was not injured. She was cited for following too close and no insurance.
Both vehicles were totaled.
