Fire District 2 Chief to Speak at NM Community Voice Monday

Mason County Fire District No. 2 Chief Beau Bakken will be the featured speaker at the North Mason Community Voice meeting Monday night. The Chief will answer questions about his district’s upcoming levy election. The District is asking voters to renew its $600,000, six year levy on the April 17th Special Election Ballot. If approved, the levy would replace the current levy that expires at the end of this year. Before the Chief speaks, the President and CEO of the North Mason Chamber of Commerce, Mark Costa, will make a brief presentation. The Voice, a community informational organization, meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month at the Belfair Masonic Lodge, 23341 Highway 3 in Belfair. The public is always welcome. The North Mason Community Voice was created more than six years ago to provide a way to share information about governmental and community activities. Membership of $10 per year supports hall rental and other costs but nonmembers are encouraged to attend. For information visit the web site, www.nmcommunityvoice.org.
