NM Chamber Board Votes to Support Fire Bond

The North Mason Chamber of Commerce Board has voted to support the North Mason Regional Fire Authority’s bond for an Emergency Management Campus in North Mason. The Fire Authority is asking voters to approved a 25-year, $10 Million Bond to acquire land adjacent to the old headquarters station and construct a new Headquarters Station.

Your North Mason Chamber of Commerce is invested in helping our businesses, organizations, and residents enjoy healthy, happy, prosperous lives.

For this reason we support the North Mason Regional Fire Authority in their proposed bond to build an Emergency Management Campus in North Mason.

This campus will enable our first responders to better serve our growing community by building a new fire station as well as retrofitting the current station to house the Sheriff, the Department of Emergency Management, and other needed County resources.

Ballots for the General Election need to be returned to the Mason County Auditor’s Office no later than 8 PM November 5th. There are eight ballot drop boxes in Mason County including one at the John L. Scott Building, 23910 NE State Route 3, in Belfair. You can also mail in your ballot (postage is prepaid) but it must have a postmark no later than November 5, 2019.
