City & School Board Candidates Talk with League

[VIDEO] The candidates running for Shelton City Council (George Blush, James Boad, Dean Jewett, Kathy McDowell & Deidre Peterson) and the contested race for Shelton School Board (Cheryl Williams & Sandy Tarzwell) spoke with the League of Women Voters of Mason County Tuesday.

George Blush and James Boad are running for Council Member No. 1.

Dean Jewett and Kathy McDowell are running for Council Member No. 2.

Deidre Peterson is running unopposed for Council Member No. 5.

Cheryl Williams is challenging Sandy Tarzwell for Shelton School Board Director District No. 1.

Each candidate was asked about climate change and its impact.

Each City Council candidate also weighed in on the tiny homes for veterans project.

Ballots for the November 5th General Election were mailed to voters Tuesday and need to be returned to the Mason County Auditor’s Office no later than 8 PM on election day. If mailing in your ballot, it must have a postmark no later than November 5, 2019.
