Travelers who use State Route 108 in Kamilche will need give themselves extra time and use detour routes during an around-the-clock closure that begins Saturday.
From 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, SR 108 at milepost 11 will close to all travelers.
The closure allows crews working for Puget Sound and Pacific Railroad to make upgrades to the SR 108 railroad crossing. This work includes creating a much smother ride for drivers as they cross the tracks.
Signed detours will be provided. Semi-trucks will detour via US 101 and SR 8.
Businesses will be open during the closure.
