A Washington State Patrol press memo says a Dodge Ram pickup pulling a 5th-wheel travel trailer was northbound on 101 about 2 PM. At milepost 357, the truck and trailer left the highway to the right, struck a tree and caught fire. The truck came to rest approximately ten feet off the roadway.

The highway was blocked for over five and a half hours.

The State Patrol identified the deceased woman as Jamie L. Dobson, 37 of Shelton, who was a passenger in the truck.

Three others in the Dodge were injured. The driver, identified as David E. Dobson, 37 of Shelton, a 10-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy were transported to St. Peters Hospital in Olympia. Troopers reported serious injuries to one of the juveniles.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
