The Washington State Patrol is looking for the driver of 2014 Ford Fusion that rolled over on State Route 300 (North Shore Road) Sunday night injuring a passenger in the car.
The car was westbound on SR-300 about 6:30 PM. Near Larson Lake Road, the car left the roadway to the right, struck a tree and rolled twice before coming to rest on the highway. The roadway was blocked for approximately four hours.
The driver, identified as Kelly M. Sharp, 29 of Tahuya, fled the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival.
The passenger, identified as Katie L. Sharp, 29 of Tahuya, was transported by aid car to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.
A press memo indicates that speed was a contributing factor to this crash and troopers believe drugs or alcohol were also involved.
