Mason County Auditor’s Election Department announces a special three-day candidate filing period for seven positions including Pioneer School Board, Cemetery District Commission, Fire District 11 Commission and two water district commissions. The special filing period is set for August 13 through August 15.
No one filed for the following positions during the regular filing period:
Mason County Cemetery District, Position No. 1
Mason County Cemetery District, Position No. 2
Mason County Cemetery District, Position No. 3
Fire Protection District No. 11, Position No. 2
Pioneer School District No. 402, Position No. 2
Belfair Water District, Position No. 2
Tahuya River Valley Water District, Position No. 1
Those interested in running for one of those position can file online at www.co.mason.wa.us/elections or in person at the Mason County Auditor’s Elections Department, 411 N. 5th Street in Shelton, during regular business hours (9 AM to 4 PM). All candidate who file during the special three-day filing period will appear on the November 5, 2019 General Election Ballot. There is no withdrawal period in this filing period.
