Starting Monday, Aug. 5, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will perform repairs on a portion of State Route 3 north of Shelton. Crews will rebuild a portion of the roadbed following pavement settlement. The work on SR 3 between Pickering Road and Krabbenhoft Road is expected to take four days, weather permitting.

Monday through Thursday, Aug. 5-8

  • Between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • One-way alternating traffic and up to 10-minute delays.

WSDOT will temporarily reduce the speed limit from 55 mph to 40 mph and 25 mph between milepost 12 and 12.3. Drivers can also expect a temporary gravel southbound lane.
