A Sequim man was injured Monday morning when the semitruck loaded with garbage he was driving rolled and spilled its load on U.S. Highway 101 south of Brinnon.
The Washington State Patrol says the 1994 Kenworth was southbound about 5:25 AM. At milepost 311, about a mile south of Brinnon, the semi left the highway to the right, gradually entered the ditch and rolled onto its right side, spilling the garbage.
The highway was fully blocked or partially block until about 7 PM as the crews righted the Kenworth and cleaned up the garbage.
The 65-year-old driver was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Cause of the crash in under investigation. Pictures from the State Patrol’s Twitter page.
