Emergency crews contained a wildfire on Eells Hill Sunday afternoon.
According to the Mason County All Hazard News Facebook page, the blaze was first reported about 4:30 PM when 9-1-1 dispatchers received multiple reports of smoke in the area of Eells Hill Road and California Road.
Crews from multiple agencies responded including West Mason Fire, Central Mason Fire & EMS, Mason County Fire District 11 and a Department of Natural Resources helicopter.
The blaze burned an estimated three acres and what was described as outbuildings containing heavy equipment. No primary structures were affected.
Crews had a dozer line around the fire’s perimeter by about 6 PM.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
