Several streets in Shelton will be closed at times this weekend for activities associated with the Mason County Forest Festival. These streets include Railroad, Franklin, Wallace Kneeland and Olympic Highway North.
From 5 AM to 2 PM Saturday, Railroad Avenue and Franklin Street will be closed between 1st Street and 12th Street for the Paul Bunyan Grand Parade.
From 5:30 PM to 11 PM Saturday, Wallace Kneeland Boulevard will be closed between the Chevron Gas Station/Burger King intersection and Shelton Springs Road for the Forest Festival fireworks display.
From 6 AM to 3 PM Sunday, Olympic Highway North will be closed between C Street and J Street for the Mason County Forest Festival Car Showoff.
All construction traffic, meaning trucks and construction equipment, will be kept out of the downtown area during Forest Festival on Saturday.
