Mason County Forest Festival This Weekend

The 75th Mason County Forest Festival run through this weekend (Thursday, May 30 through Sunday, June 2). The theme for 2019: “Facets of the Forest”

There are all kinds of activities throughout the weekend including a carnival, car show, parade, Timbersports and fireworks. Here are some of the activities:

Western Professional Qualifier Logging Show
Saturday, June 1 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm,
Loop Field located at 1020 W Franklin Street in downtown Shelton
Exhibits and Vendors will be at Loop Field 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Rockin’ The Forest
Saturday, June 1 from 5:00-9:00 at 1st and Grove Streets.
?A benefit for Crossroads Housing. Rockin’ The Forest features local favorites The Lady Drinks Whiskey, Hurts Like Hell and headliner The Psychedelic Shadow Show performing on stage with Jeff Slakey as our emcee. In it’s second year, this event takes place between the Logging Show and the Fireworks Show. $10 entry into the venue, youth 13 and younger are free. There will be a beer garden for those over 21. MUST HAVE CURRENT VALID ID!

Mason County Forest Festival Car Showoff
Sunday, June 2, 10:00am-3:00pm
Located on Olympic Hwy. N
Event is FREE to spectators.
?The Shelton High School NJROTC Booster Club hosts one of the largest one day car shows in the Pacific Northwest.
The event attracts hot rod, custom, classic, vintage and special interest cars from all over. Olympic Highway North on Mountain View. The road is closed to traffic and is packed with vehicles for all to see.
Awards will be given in 35 different categories.
