NM Baseball Falls in District Semis

The North Mason baseball team fell to Port Angeles 1 to 0 Saturday in the 2A West Central District semifinals. The Bulldogs out hit the Roughriders 6 to 3 with two of PA’s hits coming in the 3rd inning which resulted in the game’s only run.

NM plays for 3rd place in the District at 5 PM. The Bulldogs play the loser of the other semifinal between River Ridge and Fife.

In the game against Port Angeles, Brenden Kimball took the loss despite holding the Riders to one earned run on three hits while striking out seven and walking four. Kimball also had two hits, going 2 for 3 at the plate with a triple. Mason Fisher was also 2 for 3. Preston Macomber and Troy McCormick accounted for the other two hits by the boys from Belfair.
