A Shelton woman was injured in a three-vehicle collision on Highway 3 at the intersection with Lake Flora Road Saturday.
The Washington State Patrol says the collision occurred about noon when a 2006 Chrysler minivan, which was on Lake Flora Road turning southbound onto State Route 3, failed to yield right of way and was struck by a 2015 Ford C-Max hybrid that was north bound SR-3. The Ford then struck a southbound 2013 Volkswagen Passat that was stopped in the left turn lane at Lake Flora Road. The force of the collision between C-Max and VW pushed both cars onto the southbound shoulder.
A passenger in the hybrid, Hendrea Ferguson, 64 of Shelton, was injured and transported by aidcar to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.
No other injuries were reported.
The State Patrol identifies the driver of the minivan as Thomas W. Tiede, 59 of Seattle.
The driver of the Ford was Brian Ferguson 65 of Shelton.
And the driver of the Volkswagen was Kimberlie R. Rogers, 48 of Allyn.
All three vehicles were totaled and impounded.
